Lombard Exteriors will be busy this winter. The company recently inked a contract that gives Lombard exclusive rights to provide snow removal for CubeSmart® self storage facilities in Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
CubeSmart is a national developer, owner and operator of storage facilities for residential and commercial customers. This snow removal contract covers more than 150 CubeSmart facilities across six, sizeable, mostly northern states. Given that these states average up to 51 inches and 48 days of snow per year, Lombard will have a busy season – and that’s based solely on average snowfalls, no major blizzards or super storms.
Areaya Abebe, Lombard’s CEO, said: “We are experts at bringing the right equipment and the right people for the job at hand, regardless of logistical constraints. This engagement will require us to deploy quickly and consistently across a broad geographic area under adverse weather conditions. Our goal is to expedite snow removal and give CubeSmart customers access to their units as quickly as possible.”
Commented Matt Kolb: “CubeSmart prides itself on providing superb operational and managerial support to our facility operators. All of our property management services are designed to improve facility performance. Accordingly, we choose only top-performing partners we can trust to uphold our high standards. Lombard Exteriors has an excellent reputation serving self storage companies. We know they are up to the challenge.”
Concluded Abebe, “Bring on the snow! We do some of our best work around emergencies and natural disasters. We’re ready for the winter of 2020 – and any future opportunities in any state CubeSmart serves.”
Lombard Exteriors continues to expand rapidly. It currently works in a total of 21 East Coast and Midwest states. The CubeSmart contract adds Wisconsin to the growing list.
